am utterly, utterly stumped.
I'm not familiar with Worth1000's contest
rules or traditions (hell, I'm not really familiar with a lot
of SA's traditions, either, so there.) but the only way I can
see the punkmonk having been rated higher than your Loch Ness
Monster, is if "can I send this to my dimwit Aunt for an
instant laugh?" comes into play; changing an isolated monk's
hat over a clouded sky background isn't nearly as "advanced"
as reworking something to take up the larger portion of an
image, as yours was. If it was a case of #23/#26, I might not
have that big of a word about it, but #4/#26? That's a bit too
much of a gap, it seems.
I wasn't aware of the results
of the tournament either, but hopefully next time (?) we'll
win; and I look forward to seeing even more of the heavies'
names in Phridays again; now that I've finally been in one,
the rush of being in one with veterans is making me
giddypants.
